  • The Department instituted Maheshwari Singh ‘Mahesh’ memorial lectures in which state level reputed teachers were invited.
  • Vidyapati Parv Samaroh were organized several years with the joint co-ordination of Mithila Parishad and University Dept. of Maithili to enlighten the history of Maithili, Mithila and Maithli.
